What is Truth Target?
Truth Target supports interactive online debates on the important issues that affect the United Kingdom today. Many of the issues discussed are global issues. The aim is to present all sides of the debate with arguments for and against, fully supported by verifiable evidence, so that people can come to a reasoned position on the issues. Anyone can add an argument or comment and vote on the veracity of someone else's argument.
What makes Truth Target unique?
The Truth Target platform provides a unique combination of features, including:
- Sophisticated visualisation of the debate in a way that shows at a glance how claims and arguments are supported or challenged by other arguments.
- Debaters can vote on the veracity of arguments put forward by either side, as well as add comments or ask questions.
- The Truth Target system periodically takes a snapshot of the arguments to create an summary assessment of opinion. A history of snapshots is maintained to show how opinion changes as the arguments and people's understanding matures.
- From time-to-time an anonymous vote is carried out to verify the automated assessments. Voting uses blockchain technology and anonymous keys to maximise trust and privacy.

Debaters participate by adding arguments for and against and by voting on the veracity or probability of the arguments being true. All arguments should be supported by scientific or verifiable evidence. For register as a debater please use the Join The Debates button above. There is a small price of £1.49 per month to cover the costs of the platform, or a discounted price of £11.99 per year for the annual payment option. We believe you will find the debates very helpful in assessing the big issues affecting the UK, and therefore the fee represents excellent value.

Yes, you can view the debates as they unfold, and the opinion assessments and history. There is no obligation to contribute any arguments, or participate in voting unless you wish to. However you will still need to pay the platform usage fee of £1.49 per month or £11.99 per year.
